hey guys, I finally put up a gallery of my instagrams on my portfolio - check my profile link if you’d like to check it out. I believe there is a spontaneity and an honesty that can happen when we shoot with our phone and i love that. when I started Instagram almost 2 years ago, I really thought of it as just sort of a personal diary and digital sketch pad, but it has become so much more than that. because of you guys, it feels like our own little planet now, it feels like a conversation. for me it has become as much about sharing as anything else, so thank you, as always, for following along. xoxo.
this is elijah. it took about 19 years, but he’s finally found a family.
for the past few months i’ve been working with the incredibly talented photographers, writers and media makers of salaam garage to produce and tell the story of what it means to age out of the foster care system in new york. it is definitely not easy. help us tell the story of these kids who grew up without a family and without a voice. please share this post and consider helping to fund our kickstarter, now in progress. we only have a couple weeks left to reach our goal and every donation counts.
after phootcamp a few of us travelled down to Terlingua - a small town just outside Big Bend National Park. We spent just one night there but I’ll never forget it. These are a few of the people we met during our short time there.
